Early Elementary Class Descriptions

Class: United States History & Geography
Description:     This class for early elementary students will be an introduction and exposure to United States History, incorporating all learning styles.
There will be a heavy emphasis on fun! No homework will be assigned, but students will be given opportunities to do optional fun activities at home.
 

Class: Book Club
Description:     We will use class time for teacher and students reading aloud great books, as well as for doing crafts, cooking, activities, worksheets
and games related to the stories we read.
 

Class: Math Games
Description:    Learning math through various fun games and hands on activities. Students will introduced to the basic math concepts in a fun environment.

Class: Early Elementary PE
Description:     Our primary objective is to appreciate how our bodies are uniquely created by God and to learn how to keep them fit while enjoying physical
activities. There will be an introduction to Karate, Soccer, Gymnastics and Yoga which will emphasize the benefits of stretching and breathing. We will play
a variety of games such as relays, tag and large muscle group exercise will be stressed.
