Preschool Class Descriptions

Class: Pre-Kindergarten
Description:     We will create a fun and interesting learning environment through lots of hands-on activities. We'll work on learning our letters and sounds as
well as numbers. We will use themes to introduce new areas of learning, such as seasons and holidays. This year, we will focus on Kindergarten preparation.
We will be introducing writing skills such as how to hold a pencil and how to write their names as well as the letters in the alphabet. There will also be activities
that the children cut out themselves in order to develop small motor skills. Parents will be called on to assist with providing snacks.
 

Class: Playtime
Description:     A time of structured and unstructured play supervised by parents of children in the class. Parents of children in the class will be assigned responsibility
to plan, supervise and assist in carrying out activities with the children. Parents will alternate bringing snacks and supplies.
