Student Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Treat teachers, parents, and other students courteously and with respect at all times.
     
  • Be punctual for all classes and Chapel. Late arriving students may be sent to study hall, or to accompany the parent until the next period begins.
     
  • Come to classes prepared with all books, supplies and completed homework, ready to learn and participate.
  • When in study hall, come prepared to work quietly and independently.
     
  • Out of respect for others, please dress modestly and appropriately. Hemlines, necklines, waistlines and conduct should be appropriate for church activities. Clothing styles that are distracting or associated with anti-Christian culture are not appropriate for I.M.P.A.C.T.
     
  • Parents will be notified of persistent disruptive behavior. In the event of a disciplinary problem, you will be taken directly to your parent/custodial adult until the matter is cleared with the teacher and Leadership Team of I.M.P.A.C.T.
     
  • Aggressive behavior of any kind (hitting, biting, intimidation, harassment, name-calling, threats, etc.) will not be tolerated. Parents will be notified as soon as possible. Students exhibiting any of these behaviors may be suspended or expelled.
     
  • No electronic devices are permitted on the premises, including cell phones, CD players, computers, MP3 players, iPods, Game boys, etc. All electronic devices will be confiscated and returned to parents after one week.
     
  • Cell phones are not permitted during school hours. You must obtain permission form the Leadership Team to use a cell phone to make an urgent call.
     
  • Remain on church grounds and in rooms designated for the co-op's use. Students may not sit in the family vehicle or go to the family vehicle during school hours without permission from the Leadership Team.
     
  • Food is allowed only in the lunch room eating areas unless it is part of a class function.
     
  • Treat church property with respect.
     

Parent and Student responsibilities Addendum: Weapons Policy
No weapons of any kind, including guns, swords, knives, pocketknives, airsoft guns, paintball guns,             fireworks, etc. shall be permitted on the IMPACT campus or at any IMPACT sponsored events. Prior approval from the Leadership team for special events may be granted upon request.
 

Failure to comply with these policies will jeopardize your privilege to participate in I.M.P.A.C.T.
